Kristina M. Brooks

Kristina Brooks, PharmD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and Co-Director of the Colorado Antiviral Pharmacology Laboratory. Her research is focused on the clinical pharmacology of therapeutics in infants, children and pregnant women, primarily those with HIV and related coinfections. Dr. Brooks is highly involved in multiple studies through the International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials (IMPAACT) Network as a pharmacologist and specialty lab director. She is also a member of the DHHS Perinatal and Pediatric HIV Guidelines Panels.
Myong-Jin (MJ) Kim, PharmD

Dr. Myong-Jin (MJ) Kim is director of Division of Therapeutic Performance II, Office of Research and Standards, Office of Generic Drugs, CDER, FDA. MJ leads the group that leverages expertise in clinical pharmacology, formulation science, and human subject protection to conduct research that ensures therapeutic equivalence of generic versions of oral drug products, and to develop product-specific guidances for generic drug developers. She recently served as the FDA Deputy Topic Lead for the ICH Expert Working Group on M13: Bioequivalence for Immediate Release Solid Oral Dosage Forms. MJ graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA, with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry. Subsequently, she received a Doctor of Pharmacy from the Temple University School of Pharmacy in Philadelphia, PA and completed her postdoctoral training in Clinical Pharmacology at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, NY. MJ is currently serving as the Secretary of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology

Ahmed Nader Executive Director, Clinical Pharmacology and Quantitative Medicine (CPQM), HBV and CV/Metabolic Comorbidities Ahmed Nader is an Executive Director in Clinical Pharmacology and Quantitative Medicine (CPQM) at GSK, where he leads CPQM support for HBV and cardiovascular and metabolic comorbidities. Since joining GSK five years ago, he has led clinical pharmacology and quantitative medicine teams across high-priority development programs, with a focus on integrating model-informed drug development, quantitative systems pharmacology, and data-driven decision making. Ahmed holds a PhD and MSc in Clinical Pharmacology from Purdue University and previously spent seven years at AbbVie supporting programs in Immunology and Specialty Medicine. His work is centered on applying quantitative clinical pharmacology to accelerate development, strengthen evidence generation, and inform strategic portfolio decisions.
James Ousey

Dr. James Ousey is a Principal Research Scientist, Modeling and Simulation, at AbbVie, where he supports the preclinical to clinical translation of locally delivered therapeutics. Dr. Ousey earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Caltech and has previous clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics experience from prior roles at Pfizer and Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals. As a co-chair of the ACCP Student, Trainee, & Early-stage Professionals (STEP) Committee, Dr. Ousey is committed to facilitating the professional growth of students and trainees in clinical pharmacology and in celebrating the successes of those embarking on their careers.
